Assessment, Treatment and Rehabilitation
The first visit will consist of a thorough assessment. This ensures you receive the appropriate treatment and rehabilitation. Subsequent visits will focus on a holistic approach to treatment and rehabilitation, helping you to help yourself.
We offer a wide range of treatment techniques including:
- Manual therapy
- Exercises and rehabilitation programme
- Taping
- Massage
- Electrotherapy (TENS, Ultra-Sound, Interferential, Electrostimulation)
- Acupuncture
We can also provide Orthopaedic and Sports Bracing and others rehabilitation products (Lumbar rolls, crutches, collars, balance boards, sacro-iliac belts, etc.) when required.
We will liaise closely with your General Practitioner and, if necessary, help you to arrange onward referral to relevant specialists.
We still work closely with Mackenzie Podiatry, located in 6, Balhousie Street, so you can be assessed by a podiatrist if we feel that your condition requires it.
Sports and Remedial Massage
This can be used to compliment your treatment or to compliment training and sporting performance. It can also be used as a natural treatment for many everyday health problems or for general relaxation.
Workplace Assessment
Onsite ergonomic assessment of the workplace and workplace practice is also offered in line with current Health and Safety Legislation such as the Manual Handling Regulations and Visual Display Regulations.
Home Visit
We can also offer treatment at home or at the gym of your choice.
